Marking 20 years since the passing of the legendary Israeli singer-songwriter Naomi Shemer, the all-women ensemble Nashot Chava presents a heartfelt tribute infused with femininity, rooted tradition, and creative spirit.
In this special performance, the group is joined by singer-songwriter Tamar Giladi – Naomi Shemer’s daughter-in-law – for a musical journey that includes beloved songs, personal stories, and touching anecdotes from Shemer’s life.
Nashot Chava, Israel’s pioneering all-female band performing traditional Jewish music fused with modern styles, was founded with a deep sense of mission: to share and celebrate Jewish music in all its colors through a fresh, feminine voice.

"The Rolling of a Nigun "
Nigun is a Jewish folklore melody.
We take the audience to a Journey into the Jewish "Shtettle" in Eastern Europe, where the Jews used to live. We are lucky to catch a glimpse into their lives, their folklore music and expressive and humoristic stories written by the greatest writers as Shalom Aleichem, Bashevis Zinger and Yossel el Burstein. The stories are told gracefully, with a smile and a wink by Zvi Salton and the music played wonderfully with a lot of enthusiasm and sensitivity by The Eve's Women.
